A purchase is the order placed by the user for one or several items via the online store. Products may be ordered from the online store at the www.visitpodcetrtek.com website all days of the week without interruption (24/7), which means that it is possible to shop at any given time. Purchases will be delivered as defined hereinafter.
Upon placing an order at the online store at the www.visitpodcetrtek.com website, the buyer (user) will have to provide the following information:
- a valid email address;
- the buyer’s first and last name;
- the buyer’s GSM number;
- the address for the delivery of the goods and for the invoice.
It is important that the information provided by the buyer is correct, complete and up-to-date, as the failure to do so will make it impossible to carry out the purchase, which will therefore be cancelled.
The buyer shall be subject to the general conditions in force at the time of purchase (when the online order is placed).
Types of users
Orders at the online store can be placed by registered members as well as guests (users, buyers), who make a quick purchase and need not register to do so.
Upon signing up (registering) for the online store, a visitor will be assigned a username, which is identical to the email provided, and a user-generated password. If a user wishes to change the email address or password at any given time, this can be done in the user profile.
Availability of information
TIC Podčetrtek undertakes to always provide the user with the following information:
- the company’s ID (name and business address of the company, registration and tax numbers),
- contact information that enable the user to communicate efficiently with the seller (email, telephone),
- the key characteristics of the goods or services (including after-sale services and warranties),
- the availability of the products (every product on offer at the website should be available within a reasonable deadline),
- product delivery conditions (mode, location and time for delivery),
- all prices must be stated clearly and unambiguously, and it must be evident whether they are inclusive of all taxes and delivery costs,
- mode of payment and delivery,
- duration of the validity of a given offer,
- the time period in which it is still possible to withdraw from the contract, and the conditions to do so; in addition to that also whether the user will bear any costs in order to return a product and the amount of such costs,
- explanation of the complaint procedure with all information on the contact person or service for customer relations.
Items on offer and pricing
Due to the nature of online business operations, the offer and prices at the TIC Podčetrtek online store are updated and will change often. Online prices are the same for members and for the guests of the online store. All prices are in euros (EUR) and include value added tax (VAT). The prices are valid at the time of purchase and do not have a preliminarily set value.
The special offer prices are always valid within the time period determined at the online store.

Purchase, payment and replacement
Purchase (order) and pricing
The purchase-and-sale agreement between TIC Podčetrtek and the buyer at the online store will be deemed concluded at the moment when TIC Podčetrtek sends to the buyer an email confirming the order. From this moment onward, all prices and other conditions are fixed and will apply to TIC Podčetrtek as well as the buyer.
The purchase-and-sale agreement (i.e. the first electronic message on the status of the order) is stored in electronic format on the TIC Podčetrtek server and available to consumers upon their written request. They will also receive a copy of the order on their e-mail address.
Withdrawal from the contract and replacement of items
In accordance with the provision set out in Article 43 of the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), in the case of contracts concluded remotely or outside of business premises, consumers shall be entitled to inform the selling company within 14 days of their withdrawal from the contract without having to state the reasons for such withdrawal.
The only expense incurred by the consumer in relation to the withdrawal from the contract is the direct cost of returning the goods (shipping costs).
If a consumer withdraws from the contract, our company will refund all payments made using the exact same means of payment used by the consumer. The company will refund the payments as soon as possible, but at the latest within 8 days from receiving the returned goods. The request should be sent within the required deadline to the firstname.lastname@example.org email address.
Should you decide to return or replace the purchased goods, you must send it back and we’ll send you another item (in the case of replacement). In such a case, you will also have to pay the cost of returning the shipment, as well as the costs of shipping the new goods. The user does not cover the costs of shipping in both directions in the cases where the replacement of goods occurs due to material defect. When a user wishes to return or replace items, this can be done at one’s own expenses and by using regular or express postal services.
The buyer must inform us about any material defect along with a detailed description thereof, within the statutory deadline. The buyer must also enable us to inspect the item.
The right to claim material defects is set out in greater detail in the Consumer Protection Act.
Means of payment
The following means of payment may be used at the TIC Podčetrtek online store:
- cash upon delivery by GLS courier service or by the Post of Slovenia,
- based on a pro-forma invoice (universal payment order) and wired to the company’s account,
- using a debit or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, BA Maestro) via the online store
- at the collection point at TIC Podčetrtek in Podčetrtek (Škofja Gora 1), payment can be made in cash or a debit or credit card (Activa, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, BA Maestro).
Shopping and delivery costs are provided at the final stage of the order and calculated based on the weight of the selected items. Collection in person is also possible at TIC Podčetrtek. No delivery costs are charged in this case.
For home delivery, TIC Podčetrtek uses the company Pošta Slovenije d.o.o. (Post of Slovenia), which normally schedules deliveries on every working day between 08.00 and 16.00.
There are no deliveries of ordered products on Saturdays and Sundays.
The goods will be delivered to the address specified by the user in the order.
Price of delivery
The cost of delivery is calculated on the basis of the selected items, according to the valid price list of Pošta Slovenije d.o.o.

Delivery costs are charged at the online store and are evident from the order copy.
Deadline for delivery
All orders placed on working days before 13.00 are shipped on the same day. In the case of payment at delivery or card payment, the orders will be delivered, in accordance with the conditions of the company Pošta Slovenije d.o.o., at the latest on the third working day from the order.
The orders marked as payment with a pro-forma invoice will be shipped when the transferred money will appear on TIC Podčetrtek’s transaction account of.
Orders placed during the weekend or on holidays will be shipped the following working day. For products where a longer shipping time is expressly given, this will apply.
Note: The above conditions apply solely to the territory of the Republic of Slovenia.
TIC Podčetrtek respects the privacy of its users and, within this framework, their/your to the secrecy and privacy of personal data. We undertake to protect all of your personal data you have forwarded to us as user in order to shop at the online store and to enter into contact with TIC Podčetrtek. Such personal data is forwarded voluntarily, and processed and stored in accordance with statutory regulations. Personal data is collected with the aim of being able to efficiently, promptly and correctly react to the consumer’s needs, including: profile creation, order processing, enabling access to certain online store functions, newsletter subscription, registration for potential events organised and carried out by TIC Podčetrtek, and for potential participation in own online research and in marketing activity forums.
TIC Podčetrtek ensures the safety of data sent by the users as part of the electronic procedures. Each registered user has access to his/her personal data that can be edited and updated: corrected, changed and deleted, within the framework of the profile opened upon signing up at the online store at the www.visitpodcetrtek.si website. User data will be stored in accordance with the requirements for the provision of services as stipulated by law. After the end of this period, user data will be deleted.
