TREASURE HUNT ON THE PODSREDA CASTLE

Visit Podsreda Castle at any time during opening hours, no prior notice is required, and take part in the Treasure Hunt adventure at Podsreda Castle. Buy tickets for participation in the info-center at the castle (entrance fee for the castle is included in the price of the game).

Your castle adventure will start in the courtyard of Podsreda Castle, where you will receive instructions from the castle staff and set out to explore the castle on your own. For a complete castle experience, you will visit all the rooms of the castle, from the castle dungeon and kitchen from the castle attic, where bats live, to the place "where the emperor goes on foot" ...

At the same time, as part of the Treasure Hunt adventure, you will follow the instructions on the map and discover hidden clues in various castle rooms, which will lead to the next hiding place with a clue and so on until the end. Once you have gathered all the clues and put together the solution to the puzzle and revealed the secret that will save the kingdom, the grateful kingdom will reward you with a beautiful as well as a delicious reward.

All of you who want to know how flour is made from wheat will be excited about the visit of the organic farm Kukovičičev mlin (Kukovičič's mill), where you will be able to see the process of grinding grains in a stone mill. The mill is one of the few water-powered mills in Slovenia, and it successfully combines the family tradition with modern production techniques. You will learn how they used to grind grain, and you will create beautiful cookies with the owner, which you will decorate according to your own inspiration.

TASTING OF THE FAMOUS ICE CREAM OF KOZJANSKO AT THE SINKOVIČ FARM

You've probably heard of frozen yoghurt, which has been a hit with ice cream lovers for the last few years.  At the Sinkovič farm, you will be served real frozy of Kozjansko, which good name is better than riches. The owner of the farm, Katja Sinkovič, will personally show you the entire production of 100% home-made dairy products.  It's a real special "dairy" experience where visitors learn how cheese, yoghurt, and other dairy delicacies are made.

We encourage green travel - you can get to the center of the destination by train or bus. After the destination, you can also reach popular sightseeing spots by bicycle.

Buying local produce creates a positive effect both economically and environmentally. Because the shorter the distance the products travel, the smaller the carbon footprint. It also benefits local communities, especially in rural areas.
